Performance Minerals
The Performance Minerals segment brings together three geographic business areas: Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), Americas and Asia-Pacific (APAC) serving the Plastics, Paints & coatings, Filtration, Ceramics, Batteries & Fuel cells and Paper & board markets.
High Temperature Materials & Solutions
The High-Temperature Materials & Solutions segment regroups two business areas: High Temperature Solutions (including Calderys activities) and Refractory Abrasives & Construction serving the Refractory, Foundry, Steel, Abrasives and Building chemistry markets.
Performance Minerals segment
Performance Minerals (PM) are used as functional additives, providing unique properties to our customers’ products of the following markets:
- Ceramics
- Cosmetics & personal care
- Batteries & Fuel cells
- Food & beverage
- Health, pharma, & biotechnology
- Paints & coatings
- Paper & board
- Plastics
- Rubber
Imerys has three PM business areas in this segment, organised by geography because most of our customers in this segment tend to require the supply of our products from a plant and mine in close proximity:

High-Temperature Materials & Solutions segment
Our minerals in this segment are speciality minerals used as processing aids to facilitate a manufacturing process typically working with high temperatures and providing unique properties to our customers’ products of the following markets:
- Abrasives
- Building materials
- Foundry
- Refractory
- Steel
Imerys has two globally managed business areas in this segment:
- High-Temperature Solutions (HTS). This business area includes our subsidiary, Calderys, specialising in providing refractory solutions.
- Refractory, Abrasives & Construction (RAC)
