The Mason family story stretches back to 1780 when TH Mason and Son’s was established by Seacome Mason.  Now, with over 240 years of specialised industry and consulting experience, Mason Technology has become one of Ireland’s leading and largest suppliers of scientific solutions in both the Laboratory and the Industrial arena.

The company is managed today by the seventh and eighth generation of the Mason Family, making us one of the oldest surviving family businesses in the country.  As befits such a proud history, we take a long-term view of our business, developing relationships with customers and suppliers that have spanned several generations.

Throughout the past two centuries, we have been at the forefront of technological advances, introducing numerous technologies to Ireland for the first time – and even being immortalised through the Mason Hygrometer, which was manufactured in Harold’s Cross Dublin, and sold throughout the world.

Today, we look forward confidently to the next generation of technological advancement and class-leading service, writing a further chapter in the story of one of Ireland’s most illustrious companies.
