Over 100 years of company historyROTA – our family company was founded in 1909 and is still successfully managed as such with personal initiative and responsible management.ROTA has always been about developing its own ideas – the dynamics of creativity and independence, in fact pioneering spirit. We are characterized by independent entrepreneurship, identifying ourselves to the highest degree with what we do. This guarantees quality, sustainability and ultimately our continued success.

ROTA Verpackungstechnik and Rota YokogawaFrom 1991 to 1995, an initial collaboration turned into an increasingly close cooperation, until finally the flowmeter division was gradually integrated into the Japanese Yokogawa Group.

In 1995, the packaging technology division was re-established in parallel with initially just under 30 employees as ROTA Verpackungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, where the successful tradition of the family-run business was continued and is still being expanded today. From 1998, the company’s history continued in the newly constructed building complex in Öflinger Straße in Wehr. Thus it comes that since then there are two companies with common roots and similar name in the place.

As a medium-sized company, we see ourselves in a position to react flexibly, quickly and competently at all times according to customer individual requirements.

The large assembly hall, completed in 2020, forms a stable foundation to secure our innovative strength for the future.
