Our Story

Scott Equipment Company is the leading processing and industrial equipment manufacturer and global provider of custom processing equipment for the agricultural and industrial markets. We have two manufacturing locations. Our central location is in New Prague, Minnesota and a second facility is in Arlington, Minnesota.

In 1966, Dick Lucas started a small manufacturing shop that built feed processing equipment in Jordan, Minnesota. Driven to produce custom, quality products for various industries, Scott Equipment successfully supplies processing equipment in countless industries throughout the United States and foreign countries.

It started with our original feed processing equipment to our patented AST Drying System. Scott Equipment now designs and manufactures custom batch and continuous mixing systems, blenders, coolers for ground material, size reduction equipment, product separation equipment, and dry bulk storage bins. Our flexible design capabilities and completely custom manufacturing process allow our processing and mixing equipment the flexibility to work within various industrial applications, including pharmaceutical, agricultural, industrial, food, and waste reduction applications.

We have an extensive pilot plant testing faculties and rental program. We offer a win-win situation for our customers, allowing them to test our machines with their products before purchase. Additionally, we are pleased to offer a network of technical support and consulting services to address each customer’s unique needs.
