The peristaltic principle

Peristaltic pumps have no valves, seals or glands to leak, clog or replace. The process fluid touches only a, tube – it does not come into contact with the pump itself. The tubing can be easily cleaned or disposed of, eliminating the possibility of contamination and ensuring a fast and efficient validation process. Maintenance is confined to a tube change, which takes minutes. Peristaltic pumps are reversible, self-priming and dry-running.

Flexicon offers aseptic filling machines and capping systems for pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic applications. Designed for use in sterile environments, Flexicon aseptic filling machines offer a high degree of accuracy with documented precision.
