Takeshu Pharmaceutical manufactures injectable products (vials, prefilled syringes) on a contract basis.
Visual inspection and packaging of injections
We will perform visual inspection and packaging of filled vials and syringes. We have a large refrigerated warehouse and can handle investigational drugs and pharmaceuticals that require refrigeration management.
Takeshu Pharmaceutical strengthens the guarantee of appearance quality based on many years of contract experience. We have skilled inspectors and automated inspection machines.
There are three important items in the visual inspection.
1. Appearance quality inspection of pharmaceutical product
2. Appearance quality inspection of packaging
3. Foreign Body Analysis To meet the market expectations for these, we carry out visual inspections by highly trained inspectors.
- For injections:Filled vials and syringes prevent foreign substances such as small pieces of glass and fibers from entering in order to meet the requirements of the Japanese market.
- For finished products:For finished products, defects such as dents and scratches on the individual packaging box have been removed.
- Foreign matter analysis:When a foreign matter is found, we propose to improve the process by identifying the cause of the contamination by performing foreign matter analysis using various devices.
The above inspectors are skill certified and are tested annually for certification renewal. In addition, an automatic vial inspection machine will be introduced in 2020.
We quickly respond to foreign matter analysis such as troubles in the manufacturing process and complaints from the market. Typical analyzes include microscopic observation, elemental analysis by X-ray microscope, and elemental identification by Raman and FT-IR.
