Pharmacological form

Cream and Pomade

Therapeutic indications

Limited and resistant plates:

- psoriasis, particularly in their palmoplantar localizations,

- lichenification (neurodermatitis),

- discoid lupus erythematosus,

- lichens.

- Hypertrophic scars

- Non-infected cortico-sensitive lesions, having resisted a corticosteroid of the lower category and limited in surface.

Remark :

· After a generally brief attack treatment, the relay is possibly ensured by a lower level corticosteroid.

· Each dermatosis must be treated with a corticosteroid at the most appropriate level, knowing that depending on the results, it may be necessary to substitute a product with stronger or weaker activity on all or part of the lesions.

The cream form is more particularly intended for acute, oozing lesions.

Dosage and method of administration

Treatment should be limited to 1 to 2 applications per day.

An increase in the number of daily applications would risk aggravating the undesirable effects without improving the therapeutic effects.

The treatment of large surfaces requires monitoring of the number of tubes used.

It is advisable to apply the product in spaced touches, then to spread it by massaging lightly until it is completely absorbed.

Certain dermatoses (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, etc.) make gradual discontinuation desirable. It can be obtained by reducing the frequency of applications and/or by using a less strong or less dosed corticosteroid.
