Flow Wraps
Flow Wrapping is a horizontal-motion packaging technique used for both single and multipack applications. The technique is designed to run at high speeds and is used for a wide range of packaging. Common uses include snack products, confectionery, cookies, cereal or nutrition bars and sweet treats.
These films can have the following features integrated:
- High barrier performance
- Heat resistance
- Peel functionality
- Permanent or early seal ability
- Can be provided clear, plain or printed

Our purpose-built site follows hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) methodology and is BRC IOP (CAT 1) approved with high-risk product accreditation, which allows us to supply a wide range of food manufacturers.
Options available from OPM Group include cookie wraps printed on Polypropylene (BOPP) and Polyesters, as well as standard flow wraps. Our team can provide flow wraps of any run length from 50 kg and can provide a quick and efficient turn around for your convenience. All flow wrap provided by OPM Group is FDA compliant.
Confectionery films cover the full range of base materials available and are dependent on the desired retail result. Great options for brands include the highly decorative basic polyethylene bags, through to laminated polypropylenes and metallised structures.
OPM Group offers a range of materials suitable for the confectionery market and related products that lend themselves to outer bags or inner wraps, and support great shelf-life for ingredients such as nuts and dried goods. Flexographic printing up to nine colours is available for stand-out imagery and colours, boosting shelf appeal and exuding quality for the brand.
Flow wrap packaging is also available for non-food applications, proving an extremely versatile packing method and a simple way to add visual impact to FMCG goods, personal care products and beyond. OPM Group can provide flow wrap to encapsulate irregular sized or solid products in clear or printed film, ideal for use with dry and solid products such as sponges, cutlery, cloth or razor blades, for example.
