Description

Amphotericin B prevents the growth of fungi by causing an increase in fungal plasma membrane permeability. Amphotericin B is used to prevent the contamination of cell cultures by yeast and multicellular fungi.

• 100X concentration. Just dilute 1:100 to get the final working concentration of 2.50 µg/mL
• Antifungal agent

Applications

Amphotericin B is useful for the maintenance of antifungal cell cultures in 2.5 mg/L concentration with penicillin and streptomycin also used in the medium.
