The RFID label is used for permanent marking on reusable transport containers and plastic surfaces in logistics.
In the modern supply chain, a use of returnable transport item (RTI) containers is standard. This increases both efficiency and transparency and reduces costs and waste. The RFID technology enables optimized, efficient logistics processes. Machine washing processes, external influences and the long product life place special demands on the label.
The RFID-RTI (UHF) label from the Schreiner PrinTrust business unit is ideally suited for application to reusable transport containers and plastic surfaces of all kinds. Thanks to the special combination of adhesive and surface material, the label adheres particularly well and also withstands machine washing processes—for years.
In addition, specialty versions for containers or objects made of ESD materials are available. Conventional RFID labels produce poor reading results on such objects. The RFID-RTI ESD Label has been developed specifically for this use case and delivers optimal read ranges on ESD materials.
