Gift packaging for cookbook

A unique gift packaging for a cookbook

To launch her ULALA cookbook, Pavlína Lubojatzky, a successful contestant of the popular TV show MasterChef Czech Republic, bet on a unique corrugated packaging solution from THIMM pack’n’display.

A gift packaging that turns into a recipe storage box in a second and contains corrugated cardboard elements for assembling a stand – this is the box for the ULALA cookbook.

After removing the book, the packaging very simply becomes a box for storing recipes, which it also holds in place thanks to the corrugated cardboard bookmark, which is part of the gift packaging. The box also includes parts for assembling the stand. The use of the corrugated cardboard stand can be twofold – especially an open cookbook can be inserted into it, thus preventing unwanted page rotation during cooking, or a closed cookbook can be displayed in the stand as an interesting household accessory.

This unique packaging was created with the help of modern digital technologies – printing and laser cutting. The elegant blue-white design of the box with a fine print perfectly matches the cover of the cookbook and thus creates the perfect gift set.

The entire gift packaging, including the bookmark and the stand, is completely made of corrugated cardboard, a sustainable and easily recyclable material. ULALA cookbook in this unique packaging is a great gift idea but also a way to a healthier, more sustainable future.

Advantages of the gift packaging for a cookbook:

  • The elegant white design of the packaging is complemented by a subtle print in blue and together with the cover of the cookbook form a perfect set.
  • The gift box can be turned into a recipe box in seconds. The package includes a corrugated cardboard bookmark, which keeps recipes in place.
  • The package includes a corrugated cardboard stand, in which the cookbook can be displayed or an open book can be placed in it during cooking.
  • Attractive design thanks to the use of digital technologies - printing and laser cutting.

Ecological aspects of this gift packaging:

  • The entire gift packaging, including the bookmark and stand, is made of corrugated cardboard, a sustainable material that can be easily recycled together with waste paper.
  • When a corrugated gift box is thrown into a waste paper container after use, it becomes part of a cyclical economy and is transformed into a raw material for further production instead of waste.
  • Thanks to the use of digital laser technology, material and resources for the production of cutting tools have already been saved during production, as cutting tools are not required for laser cutting.
