Our Ethics
The Environment
Human awareness of the environment and our influence on it has increased dramatically in recent times. As a result ethically minded companies are questioning what we can do to mitigate our impact on the environment, both locally and globally.
At Adelphi we take our responsibility to minimise our impact on the planet very seriously. To this end we have taken positive steps such as building super-insulated warehouses, harvesting rainwater for cleaning and toilet flushing and installing SCHOTT Solar Photovoltaic panels to generate our own electricity.
Currently we produce enough renewable solar energy to service the entire Adelphi Group site, with over-production being fed back into the national grid.
In addition to this we recycle company-generated plastic, metal and glass wherever possible and provide recycling facilities for staff food and drink packaging.
Staff Welfare
We have a great team of enthusiastic, helpful and driven people who are, without a doubt, a major reason we are so highly regarded in our field.
It is important to us that our staff enjoy a safe and comfortable working environment with good communi-cation channels and rewarding development opportunities. Our management teams operate an open-door policy and welcome ideas, feedback and ambition.

The Wider Community
Adelphi's chairman, Stephen Holroyd, really does go above and beyond. His drive to help the community has included providing affordable housing for local residents in public service roles and sponsoring local charities.
