History

In 2020, we integrated the operations of Aurigene Discovery Services and Dr. Reddy's Custom Pharma Services (CPS) to form Aurigene Pharmaceutical services Ltd. (APSL), a wholly-owned independent subsidiary of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.

With the integration, we brought together Dr. Reddy's former Custom Pharmaceutical Services (CPS), which was founded in 2002 as a contract development and clinical supply partner for pharma companies across the globe. After only two years, CPS had shown tremendous success by becoming a CDMO partner for the top three pharma companies. The project pipeline grew strong, and by 2010 we started winning multi-year commercial contracts with big pharma and large CDMO companies. Aurigene Discovery Services was formed to provide discovery services to innovator companies. Over the years, it delivered several chemistry and biology services to innovator companies and gained their confidence by serving multiple chemistry and biology programs.

Today, Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services brings together both of these strengths supports global pharma companies with end-to-end services from early drug discovery to commercialization.
