THE COMPANY AND ITS HISTORY

Ilpra Systems UK Ltd was founded in 1990 due to increasing demand for our packaging machinery. Our parent company Ilpra Spa was founded in 1955 with the aim of designing and producing reliable, leading-edge packaging machines, and is still a family owned business which can now be also found on the Italian Stock Exchange. Since Ilpra Systems UK branch office was opened the company has grown and we now have over 400 customers throughout the country offering a vast range of products and services to our clients. These range from machines, to after service to consumables all based locally within the United Kingdom.

In the same year Ilpra Spa opened its doors, the first tray sealer was built, testifying to the capacity for innovation and market vision from the very beginning. It was in 1982 that Ilpra’s want for innovation and development materialised into launching the first  protective atmosphere heat sealer on the market. Since the 1980s the rapid growth of the company has never stopped: the continuous investments in research and development, the constant projection towards technological innovation together with important commercial investments, have led the Ilpra brand to spread rapidly all over the world. All this makes Ilpra an undisputed world leader in food, non-food and medical industrial packaging.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Continuous investments in Research & Development have always been the best way for Ilpra to guarantee a constant projection towards the customer’s needs. The Research & Development department is constantly working to anticipate and satisfy the changing demands in the industry and offer technologically advanced machines and systems in order to offer the customer a wide range of packaging solutions.

The aim of Ilpra is to make the customer’s experience unique by providing packaging machines that can minimize packaging costs whilst increasing output in order to support the competitiveness of the user customer on the market. The continuous innovation and reliability of our packaging solutions are the product of the constant combination of experience, know-how and competence.
