Company description
Since its establishment in 1993, the company Labena doo has been dealing with market segments in the pharmaceutical, medical, food, petro-chemical industry, as well as research and development in academic institutions. We provide our customers in the region with comprehensive technological solutions in process and laboratory analytics and thus participate in the introduction of new technologies and staff training in all markets where we operate.
We have been following the wishes of customers and the new technological achievements of leading manufacturers in the world for more than 20 years. This gives the company good insight into the working, research and business processes of end users, with whom we closely cooperate in planning, equipping and training for working with high-tech equipment, which is necessary for smooth and high-quality work.
In 2008, as a result of the long-term development of our activities, we opened a research and development department within the company, where, in cooperation with various faculties, we participate in the field of development in telemedicine, medicine and pharmacy.
Our goal is to continue to remain one of the leading providers of technological solutions on the market and, in accordance with the needs of our partners and customers, to expand our offer and expand our knowledge and market presence with it.
In 2012, we opened a fifth company in Serbia and thus rounded up all the republics of the former Yugoslavia into a connected whole. Labena is thus present in 5 countries in the region, namely in Slovenia, Croatia, BiH, Serbia and Macedonia, and we also cover Montenegro and Kosovo.
In 2015, Labena additionally purchased an analytical laboratory with the activity of analytics for the pharmaceutical industry, with an additional 12 employees. It equipped and purchased new equipment and additionally employed 4 laboratory technicians, engineers and technicians.
In 2017, we are buying a larger space for the analytical laboratory due to the expansion of our activities. We strengthened cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Biology.
