Laboratory Analysers Australia (LAA) commenced as GBC Scientific in WA in the late 1980s.  The company initially focussed on the large-scale analytical testing employing predominantly Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) for metals analysis, including the sale and service of GBC instrumentation.

As the product range grew and the focus grew beyond that of AAS instruments, the company then traded and branded itself as Laboratory Analysers Australia.

In 2015 Compliance Monitoring purchased LAA to leverage the instrumentation technician skillset and synergy between the companies.  Since 2015, the product offering has rationalised to better fit the key markets of both Compliance Monitoring Pty Ltd and Compliance Equipment Pty Ltd (trading as LAA).  The combining of company resources has allowed more dynamic service delivery with rationalised systems and administration with a focus on client satisfaction as relationships.

Today the LAA team offer more than laboratory instrumentation, more than just analytical instruments in more countries than Australia.

Many of our staff have experience in working in commercial and government laboratories and so we understand the importance of precision, accuracy and efficiency in sample analysis.
