DOCTOR MACHINES
Roll Doctor Machine
Doctor Machine®: Don't throw out bad material – Doctor it!
The original heavy-duty Doctor Machine,® the Stanford brand of equipment provides an efficient method of salvaging defective material.
There will be rolls that have small solvent voids, either when a splice occurs, or when the machine stops and starts. Gone are the days when every foot of material had to be inspected for good seam quality or extreme lay-flat variations. With better equipment and better trained operators, the problems that plagued the industry in the beginning are mostly gone.
Our roll Doctor Machines® are used to remove defective printing, repair splices, re-tension loose rolls and edge guide rolls of defective material. In fact, Accraply’s Stanford brand is the originator of the Doctor Machine® and we have more than 6,000 of them out in the marketplace. So, when you’re looking for this important part of the shrink sleeve process, don’t settle for second-rate imitators, go with the original Stanford Doctor Machine®.
