ALfeeder
ALfeeder friction feeders are microprocessor controlled hopper feed units, for flat products such as cartons, sheets and sleeves, configurable to operate in either a continuous feed, batch feed or single-shot operation.
ALfeeder is available in two model widths; ALfeeder 250 for products up to 250mm width, and ALfeeder 400, for products up to 400mm width, and thanks to a powerful stepper motor drive system, can reach a variable linear feed speed of up to 70m/min.
Product is separated via precision counterrotating rollers and hopper vibration, with micro-adjustments on both the left and right side, which make the feeder extremely flexible and configurable in its setup for many flat even product types.
However, it is the microprocessor controller, which is based on the same architecture as our core label applicator products, which really differentiates ALfeeder from competitor products, allowing the machine to be configured in three specific modes of operation as follows:
