Function and use
Dosing screws are used for the exact dosing of components in, for example, weighing containers.
The product flows through the inlet into the screw spiral and is gently conveyed to the outlet. The flow rate is regulated by a frequency-controlled drive motor. Different conveying speeds for coarse and fine flow enable the combination of high throughput and precise dosing.
Various designs offer optimal solutions for customer-specific requirements. Examples of this are quick and easy cleaning options, the bearing air purge, which is important for hygiene standards, and the use of the right material with the appropriate surface quality.
Optional versions for quick cleaning and inspection are easily disassembled without the use of tools.
