The process of the thermocompression distiller is based on the evaporation of a boiling liquid at a temperature of about 102/104 ° C and in the raising of the temperature of the vapor produced up to 130/140 ° C, through the mechanical action of a aspirator / compressor.
The compressed vapor, pushed into an environment at a temperature below its own, condenses, releasing the vaporization calories to the liquid contained in the boiler. This evaporates in an amount equal to that of the steam that condenses; in this way the latent heat is recovered as a heating source for another liquid close to boiling. These stills are capable of providing water for injections with a very high degree of chemical and biological purity which can then be used for the preparation of injectable solutions.
Continuous technological innovation and technical improvements have allowed us to achieve the following results:
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
GDN's PSMC still series is the result of more than 40 years of experience in building pharmaceutical machinery. The distiller is completely built in AISI 316 stainless steel with pickled and passivated surface, all welds are TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), the seals are in PTFE , the support frame is in AISI 304 stainless steel with steel finishes and the control it is carried out by an interface via PLC & SCADA SIEMENS.
Our plants comply with the strictest rules of the Pharmacopoeia and the guidelines of cGMP , GAMP and FDA .
