Pharmacotherapeutic group: agent for local treatment of mucosal diseases.
Content
1 g of gel contains 30 mg of methyluracil and 20 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride.
Therapeutic indications
Diseases of oral mucosa (inflammation of oral mucosa, burns following radiation therapy, apthous stomatitis, teeth extraction); gynecological diseases (ulcers, mucosal dryness and itching, postoperative wounds); urologic and proctologic diseases (postoperative wounds, microinjuries of anus and rectum, anal fissures).
Action
Gel promotes tissue regeneration, has softening and mild anti-inflammatory effect. The active substance of the gel - methyluracil - promotes cell regeneration and epitelization, it also has anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating effect. The active substance – lidocaine hydrochloride - is a local anesthetic, which reduces pain.
Doses and mode of administration
A thin layer of the gel should be applied on the affected mucosal areas 3 to 4 times a day. Duration of gel administration is up to 10 days.
