As a full-service contract packager, Reed-Lane also offers secondary packaging to its customers.
Our secondary packaging and kitting capabilities include:
- Blister card packaging
- Cartoning / tray packaging
- Heat seal / wallet cards / Key-Pak assembly
- Labeling and cartoning of vials or ampules
- Serialization of bottles, cartons, or kits
All of our secondary packaging capabilities include the use of in-line quality checks featuring check-weighers, cameras, and other sensors operated by our trained QA employees.
Full Service Serialization
Reed-Lane’s secondary packaging options can incorporate serialization from the unit level through full pallet aggregation for maximum track-and-trace capability. Our Carton Serialization Suite has the ability to encode and print the required 2D data matrix and human readable serialization data on a variety of carton and kit sizes.
Cold Chain Storage
Reed-Lane can also package products requiring cold chain services. Once the products arrive at our facility, they will be transferred to our cold storage refrigeration unit which is maintained at 2°-8°C. All cold chain packaging will be performed in a dedicated climate controlled suite located next to the cold storage unit. The line is equipped to label vials and ampules, pack products into a carton, assemble kits, and much more.
