Single-Use Screening Tool for Process Development & Optimization
SartoScale 25 single-use sterile filter units are the ideal tool for screening of filter materials in bio-pharmaceutical development and process optimization. Their unique design and small surface area for sterile filtration permits to carry out trials with lowest volumes of expensive fluid streams.

Consistency of results is assured by using the identical sterile membrane filtration materials including supportive fleeces as process scale elements.

Minimized Product Volume for Testing 
SartoScale 25 mm units feature an optimized design with 4.5 cm2 effective filtration area. In combination with the extremely low hold-up volume of less than 1 ml SartoScale 25 units allow to carry out filtration trials with minimal product volume and high product recovery.

Consistency of Results
SartoScale 25 units contain the identical filter active materials as well as the support fleeces compared to process scale elements, assuring data consistency. The use of identical filter materials allows in addition to carry out adsorption studies of important formulation components at small scale.

Ease of Use
SartoScale 25 units are single use units delivered ready to use. This allows to set-up trials fast and easy to speed up bio-pharmaceutical process development. They feature a female luer lock inlet connection and venting port as well as a male luer slip outlet connection for easy integration into every testing setup. Inlet, outlet and venting port are closed with caps to protect the units before use.

Secure Identification & Traceability
Each SartoScale 25 unit is laser labelled with the product name, pore size or retention rate, lot number and piece number assuring reliable filter identification and complete traceability. In addition each unit carries a 2-d barcode for automatic data transfer.
