MacroPermTM opens the possibility to deliver molecules that have previously been too large for effective transdermal delivery. While technology capable of permeating large molecules through the dermis and into the bloodstream by physical means exists, there is yet to be an elegant solution compatible with many types of large molecules—until now.

MacroPermTM is designed to transport Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), up to 25,000 dalton. The end result will be new transdermal patch drugs to help patients around the world. A patent protected proprietary drug delivery system, MacroPermTM makes possible the delivery of large molecules to address many challenging health issues.

OUR EXPERIENCE

MacroPermTM is the next evolution in Tapemark’s legacy of doing what has yet to be done by other transdermal CDMOs. Through our experience and expertise in transdermal drug delivery, we’ve opened new routes of drug delivery to meet an ever-growing demand for innovation in complex pharmaceutical systems. Large molecule transdermal drug delivery has the potential to deliver molecules at therapeutic levels that were previously not thought possible through patches.

To bring MacroPermTM to market, we’ve partnered with Biotts, a Polish biotechnical company that develops proprietary drug delivery technologies. Biotts proprietary technology combined with Tapemark’s world-leading expertise in transdermal patch design, development, and manufacturing combine to create MacroPermTM.
