AGIERRE Powder Transport Systems can be equipped with accessories that allow you to wash, dry and sterilize the same. There are three types of equipment: WIP CI.P. and SIP

The WIP washing procedure involves vacuum aspiration of the washing liquid directly from the suction lance, washing all surfaces, including the filter, by wetting. In order to prevent the liquid from passing the valve on the lid and ending up in the vacuum pump, a special float system has been created which intercepts the maximum level. At the end of the washing cycle, vacuum suction cycles can be carried out to dry the system. In the event that the washing action is not effective (washing has no mechanical action but only fluid dynamics), the CIP equipment is recommended.

The CIP washing and drying procedure involves washing all internal surfaces, including the filter, by means of rotating nozzles (patented system). In this mode, the washing is mechanical, ensuring the complete removal of all product residues present inside the Conveyor. At the end of the washing it can be dried with air or nitrogen. The innovative and compact design avoids product accumulation points or stagnation of the water used for washing, at the same time it ensures the total achievement of all the surfaces to be treated, guaranteeing an adequate flow rate throughout the circuit.

The SIP sterilization procedure can only be done in CIP systems, by passing flowing steam through the rotating nozzle system. These types of innovative cleaning technology and design find their main application within pharmaceutical and chemical companies and in particular in those sterile production areas with a high risk of contamination where there is the primary need to keep the properties intact. chemical-physical properties of the product and avoid "cross contamination" phenomena.

The control system can be managed by a pneumatic panel or completely automated managed by a PLC. The systems are made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel and the entire system is made in full compliance with current regulations in accordance with the "cGMP guidelines" standards and UNI EN ISO standards. The configuration of these systems, in line with AGIERRE's design and construction philosophy, can be customized according to specific requests.
