This type of Bin Blender consists of a trolley-mounted mixer for BIN designed for mixing and homogenizing dry powders. It is mainly used within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry in all those handling processes where there is a need to mix the powders homogeneously and directly in the Bin, eliminating the loading, unloading and cleaning of the mixer.
The Bin Blender is managed by a PLC system, which, connected to the safety sensors and to the closing system of the external structure, activates the electric motor for the rotation of the bin. This motor is able to rotate the bin both clockwise and anticlockwise at a variable speed between 4 rpm and 20 rpm.
If the Bin Blender is not installed inside a work room dedicated solely to the same machinery, this can be equipped with an external structure with an electro-lock system so as to guarantee mixing in complete safety.
The Bin Blender produces an efficient mixing effect thanks to a 30 ° inclination of the Bin with respect to the rotation axis of the machine. It is designed with a highly technological design and a structure that makes it easy to inspect and clean.
It is made up:
- Internal structure in galvanized carbon steel which represents the load-bearing structure of the machine. The arm that supports the load and the gearmotor are fixed on it.
- External casing in AISI 304 stainless steel.
- Safety structure in AISI 304 stainless steel with lexan panels that enclose the Bin to be mixed. Access to the mixing area is allowed by the two doors equipped with an electric lock.
- Antistatic wheels with AISI 304 stainless steel support that allow easy movement of the machine within the department; the rear ones are equipped with brakes.
- AISI 304 stainless steel arm designed to mix pharmaceutical bins from 5 liters up to 300 liters, with a maximum capacity of 150 kg.
- Touch panel from which it is possible to carry out the loading / unloading and mixing of the Bin.
The Bin Blender is made up of two main models, one that can mix Bins from 5 to 50 liters and a superior model that can mix Bins from 20 to 300 liters.
The Bin Blender is designed in full compliance with current regulations in accordance with the "cGMP guidelines" standards and in compliance with current safety regulations, UNI EN ISO regulations and ATEX regulations (where required).
The Bin Blender is also in line with AGIERRE's design and construction philosophy and can be customized according to the specific process requests by the Customer.
