VTS - Conveyor in Vacuum
The Powder Transport Systems are manufactured and used within Pharmaceutical , Chemical and Food companies for the transfer of products from one container to another, thus finding multiple applications both in the production departments (load of: mixers, mills, dryers, machines fluidized bed, dosers, bins, etc.) and packaging (loading of: bagging machines, capsule filling machines, tablet presses, etc.).
The operating principle is that of vacuum suction of products in powders and granules. The vacuum is generated by a series of multistage ejectors, configured according to the "Venturi" principle, which, fed by compressed air, create a depression in the Conveyor and therefore the relative suction of the product. Since the only source of energy is compressed air, this minimizes the possibility of product contamination.
The high vacuum generated by the pump allows transport at low speed while ensuring a constant and uniform transfer of the powders, without demixing or shocking the product.
However, it is possible to use another type of vacuum pump of the liquid ring type or similar, as long as the residual vacuum values are compatible with the design fluid dynamic sizing of the Conveyor. The Conveyors are made in full compliance with current regulations in accordance with the "cGMP guidelines" standards, with the UNI EN ISO standards. All Conveyors, in line with AGIERRE's design and construction philosophy, can be customized according to specific process requests.
